RBI imposes monetary penalty on The Co-operative Urban Bank Limited – Parlakhemundi, Odisha

The Reserve Bank of India imposed a monetary penalty on The Co-operative Urban Bank Limited, Parlakhemundi, Odisha, by order dated December 9, 2025. RBI said the bank violated specific directions issued under the Supervisory Action Framework (SAF) by incurring capital expenditure without prior approval, and also failed to submit customer credit information to all four Credit Information Companies.
