The Reserve Bank of India has extended the existing Directions issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 against Sonpeth Nagari Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Sonpeth, Dist. Parbhani, Maharashtra. The original directive, issued on July 29, 2025, was valid up to the close of business on January 30, 2026; RBI has now extended it to the close of business on April 30, 2026, subject to review.
